Welcome to a wonderful school year! I am very excited to be back teaching 3rd grade. I previously taught 3rd grade for 5 years before I moved to 5th grade where I taught for 3 years. I am very excited to be back in such an important year for students.
A little bit about me:
I grew up in South Florida and moved to Virginia in 2001. I graduated from CNU in 2003 and got my Masters from ODU in 2006. My husband is in the Navy and thankfully on shore duty for a while! We have one son, Colton, who was born on April 1st. I love spending time with my family and our dogs. Reading is my favorite hobby! Books open the mind to a whole new world. I have wanted to be a teacher since I was 3 years old and love what I do! There is nothing as exciting as seeing the "light bulb" come on in a child's head.
